A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A CERTIFIED MILLAGE RATE
OF 5.968 MILLS PER $1,000 ASSESSED VALUATION
FOR THE CITY OF EDGENjATER, FLORIDA, FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 19$0-1984; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to approve and adopt the certified
millage rate as established by the Volusia County Property Appraiser,
and,
WHEREAS, the Volusia County Property Appraiser has certified
a millage at 5.968 mills per $1,000 assessed valuation for the City
of Edgewater, Florida, for the fiscal year 1980-1981,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
hereby adopts and approves a certified millage at the rate of 5.968
mills per $1,000 assessed valuation for the City of Edgewater,
Florida, fiscal year 1980-1981.
SECTION 2. That all resolutions and parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
This first reading of the Resolution was read in full and passed
by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a
Regular meeting of said Council held on the "day of September,
1980, and approved as provided by law.
