A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A GENERAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA, ON NOVEMBER 4, 1980 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF APPROVING 3 QUESTIONS COVERING CHARTER
AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; PROVIDING THAT THE QUESTIONS
SO APPROVED SHALL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE EDGE -
WATER CITY CHARTER; PROVIDING FOR FILING THE RE-
VISED CHARTER AMENDMENTS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
STATE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS
AND ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following number of votes were cast con-
cerning the following questions for proposed amendment of the City
Charter of the City of Edgewater, Florida:
Question 1: dl 1 votes for approval
Ca31 votes against approval
Question 2: % 33 G votes for approval
votes against approval
Question 3: I3 S 7 votes for approval

SECTION 2. That

proposed amendments
to the City
Charter of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 3. That those proposed amendments so approved small
now be incorporated into the Charter of the City of Edgewater,
Florida.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of the Charter amendments as approved with the
Department of State of the State of Florida.
SECTION 5. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions and
all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 6. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council.
The first reading of the Resolution was read in full and
passed by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at a Special meeting of said Council held on the 5th day
of November, 1980, and approved as provided by law.
