A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL
PRIMARY ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, ON DECEMBER 16, 1980; REPEALING ALL RESO-
LUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a special primary election was held in the City of
Edgewater, Florida, on December 16, 1980, for the purpose of elect-
ing a Mayor and Council Members for Zones 1, 3 and 4,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following candidates for Mayor of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, received the following votes:

SECTION 2. That Robert H. Christy is hereby declared to be
the winner of the Mayor's race for the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 3. That the following candidates for Council Seat,
Zone 1, of the City of Edgewater, Florida, received the following
votes:

SECTION 9. That Jacob Lodico is hereby declared to be the
winner of the Council Seat for Zone 1 of the City of Edgewater,

Zone 3, of the City of Edgewater, Florida, received the following
votes:

SECTION 6. That Wilbert C. Pendleton is hereby declared to
be the winner of the Council Seat for Zone 3, of the City of

SECTION 7. That the following candidates for Council Seat,
Zone 4, of the City of Edgewater, Florida, received the following
votes:

SECTION 8. That Frank E. Opal and John T. Wilbur are hereby
declared to be the candidates for Council Seat Zone 4, of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, the the specialgeneral election to
be held on December 30, 1980, in the City of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida.
SECTION 9. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by
law.
The first reading of this Resolution was read in full and
passed by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at a Special meeting of said Council held on the 17th
day of December, 1980, and approved as provided by law.
