740ORDINANCE NO. 740
AN ORDINANCE TERMINATING HAROLD D.
DOUNHOO AS CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, RESCINDING AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the employment of Harold D. Dounhoo
as Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater be and the
same is hereby terminated effective immediately.
SECTION 2. That Resolution No. 414, Ordinance No. 711,
and Resolution No. 428 heretofore adopted and any other
Ordinance or part thereof or Resolution or part thereof
that are in conflict with this Ordinance be and the same
are hereby repealed and rescinded.
SECTION 3. That the said Harold D. Dounhoo as Chief
of Police shall be entitled to all pay due him up to the
effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote
of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
Special Meeting of said Council held on the 25th day of
February A.D., 1972.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final
passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida at a Special Meeting of said Council
held on the 25th day of February A.D., 1972, and approved
as provided by law; the vote of said Council upon roll call
being as follows:
