729v ORDINANCE NO, 729 AN ORDINANCE EMPLOYING AND APPOINTING JOE WEAVER AS MUNICIPAL JUDGE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS TENURE, SETTING FORTH HIS SALARY, PROVIDING FOR A PROBATIONARY PERIOD, SETTING FORTH HIS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Joe Weaver be and he is hereby employed and appointed as Municipal Judge for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, he to serve in said capacity at all times at the will of the City Council. SECTION 2. That the said Joe Weaver as Municipal Judge shall receive a salary of One Hundred _ ._.. ($100.00) Dollars per month, which shall be raised to the sum of One Hundred Twenty($125.00) Dollars per month after Five completion of a three month probationary period. SECTION 3. That as Municipal Judge the said Joe Weaver shall have such duties and powers and responsibilities as are set forth and provided for under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida and the Charter and Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of December A.D., 1971. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final nag passage.
