718ORDINANCE NO. 713 AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND REAPPOINTING RUTH SEDGWICK AS CLERK OF THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; SETTING HER SALARY; PROVIDING SHE SHALL SERVE AT THE WILL OF THE CITY COUNCIL; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Ruth Sedgwick be and she is hereby confirmed and reappointed as Clerk of the Water and Sewer Departments of the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 2. That the said Ruth Sedgwick's salary be and the same is hereby set at Four Hundred and Twenty ($420.00) Dollars per month. SECTION 3. That the said Ruth Sedgwick as Clerk of the Water and Sewer Departments of the City of Edgewater, Florida shall serve as the same at the will of the City Council. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a Regular Meeting of said Council held on the 15th day of November A.D., 1971. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
