714ORDINANCE NO. 714
AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND REAPPOINTING
GEORGE KATEZ AS PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; SETTING FORTH HIS
SALARY; PROVIDING HE SERVE AT THE WILL OF
THE CITY COUNCIL; DESIGNATING HIS DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND SETTING FORTH AN
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That George Katez be and he is hereby
confirmed and reappointed as Patrolman for the City of
Edgewater, Florida, he to serve at the will of the City
Council and to receive as compensation the sum of Five
Hundred ($500.00) Dollars per month.
SECTION 2. That the said George Katez shall perform
such duties as are given to him by the Chief of Police
and the City Council and he shall have all powers given
to policemen under the Constitution and Laws of the State
of Florida and the Charter, Ordinances and Resolutions
of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
and all Resolutions and parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a Regular Meeting of said Council held on the 15th day
of November A.D., 1971.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second read-
ing was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon
final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida at a Regular Meeting of said Council
held on the 15th day of November A.D., 1971, and
approved as provided by law; the vote of said Council
