709ORDINANCE NO. 709
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING CORNELIA KINSEY AS CITY
CLERK FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; SETTING
FORTH HER COMPENSATION, PROVIDING SHE SHALL SERVE
AT THE WILL OF THE CITY COUNCIL, SETTING FORTH
HER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Cornelia Kinsey be and she is hereby
appointed as City Clerk for the City of Edgewater, Florida,
she to serve in said capacity at the will of the City Council.
SECTION 2. That the said Cornelia Kinsey shall receive
as City Clerk the sum of Four Hundred Fifty ($450.00) Dollars
per month.
SECTION 3. That the said Cornelia Kinsey shall serve a
three month probationary period as City Clerk.
SECTION 4. That the said Cornelia Kinsey as City Clerk
shall have such duties as are prescribed by the Constitution
and Laws of the State of Florida, and the Charter, Ordinances
and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 5. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 6. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote
of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
Regular Meeting of said Council held on the 15th day of
November A.D., 1971.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final
passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida at a Regular Meeting of said Council held
on the 15th day of November A.D., 1971, and approved as
provided by law; the vote of said Council upon roll call
being as follows:
