703ORDINANCE NO. 703 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 667, THE SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGE - WATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1970 AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1971, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 667 of the City of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be collected from the sources of revenue as aforesaid, same be and they are hereby appro- priated to the following purposes in the follow- ing amounts during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1970 and ending October 31, 1971 to -wit: PRESENT CHANGED TO GENERAL GOVERNMENT 66,000 60,000 STREET DEPARTMENT 27,600 32,600 STREET LIGHT 11,550 11,000 GARBAGE DEPARTMENT 48,800 53,800 STREET PAVING & IMPROVEMENTS 3,000 5,000 HUMANE SOCIETY 1,200 same PARK & PIER AND RECREATION 14,500 same POLICE DEPARTMENT 46,500 43,500 FIRE DEPARTMENT 5,2" 6,750 FIRE HYDRANTS 5,200 same EMERGENCIES & CONTINGENCIES 11,800 7,850 LIBRARY 8,840 same COMMUNITY CENTER 2,550 same DRAINAGE 15,700 same CAPITAL OUTLAY 100 same CIVIL DEFENSE 100 same ADMINISTRATOR 100 same EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND 5,110 same TOTAL 273,900 273,900 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City of Edgewater, Florida, be and she hereby is directed, as and when the above described and designated revenues are received and collected by her, to � 00 apportion such revenues to the respective purposes set forth in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor or Vice Mayor in his absence. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held October 18, 1971. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the require- ment of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
