687ORDINANCE NO. 687 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF HENRY MIDKIFF OF THE WATER DEPARTMENT AND TERMINATING HIS EMPLOYMENT OF THE WATER DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA EFFECTIVE MAY 31. 1971. WHEREAS, Henry Midkiff has submitted his resignation for the Water Department for the City of Edgewater, Florida effective May 31, 1971. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the resignation of Henry Midkiff for the Water Department for the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same is hereby accepted and his employment for the Water Department for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida be and the same is hereby terminated May 31, 1971. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The foregoing Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said City Council held on May 17, 1971. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon seconded reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
