681ORDINANCE NO. 681 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF POLICE CHIEF CLYDE W. HEATH AND TERMINATING HIS EMPLOYMENT AS CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA EFFECTIVE AT MIDNIGHT MARCH 15, 1971 WHEREAS, Clyde W. Heath has submitted his resignation as Police Chief for the City of Edgewater, Florida effective at midnight March 15, 1971. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the resignation of Clyde W. Heath as Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same is hereby accepted and his employment as Police Chief for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida be and the same is hereby terminated at midnight March 15, 1971. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The foregoing Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said City Council held on March 15, 1971. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the require- ment of reading said Ordinance upon seconded reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
