AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND CONFIRMING
A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA DEDICATED TO PUBLIC USE BY THE
OWNERS OF SAID LAND, STANLEY TIZZARD
AND MARION E. TIZZARD, HIS WIFE, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, Stanley Tizzard and Marion E. Tizzard,
his wife, have dedicated a certain street, more par-
ticularly hereinafter described, for public purposes
and uses and have asked the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida to accept and confirm the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of accepting
and confirming said street dedication.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following described land in the
City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida and described
as:
Through that part of Lot 3, ASSESSORS SUB-
DIVISION per Map Book 3, Page 81 of the Public
Records of Volusia County, Florida and that
part of the unsurveyed part of Section 2, Town-
ship 18 South; Range 34 East and described as
follows: Commence at the Southeast corner of
U.S. Lot 2, Section 2, Township 18 South; Range
34 East; thence N 28° 05' 30" W 763.08 feet along
the U.S. Government Meander line to the Point of
o Beginning; thence N 890 24' 30" E 478.96 feet to
the Westerly R/W line of the Intracoastal Water-
way 500 foot R/W; thence N 260 14' 27" W 44.37
feet along the said Westerly R/W line; thence S
890 24' 30" W 600.18 feet to the Easterly line
of Riverside Drive, a 50 foot R/W as now laid
out; thence S 230 15' 50" E 43.35 feet along
the said Easterly R/W line; thence N 890 24' 301,
E 123.71 feet to the Point of Beginning,
be and the same is hereby accepted and confirmed as a
public street in the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.

The foregoing Ordinance was read in full and passed
by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at a regular meeting held on January 19, 1970.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the require-
ment of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was
waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final
passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 19th day of January A.D., 1970, and approved
as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as
follows:
