637ORDINANCE NO. 637 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION B OF ORDINANCE 609, THE SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VODUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1968 AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1969, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 609 of the City of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: That from the aforesaid anticipated monies t6 be collected from the sources of revenue as aforesaid, same be and they are hereby approp- riated to the following purposes in the following amounts during the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1968 and ending October 31st, 1969, to -wit: PRESENT CHANGED TO GENERAL GOVERNMENT 37,450 43,000 STREET DEPARTMENT 21,300 24,500 STREET LIGHTS 8,500 9,000 GARBAGE DEPARTMENT 29,000 33,350 STREET PAVING & IMPROVEMENTS 1,000 600 HUMANE SOCIETY 1,200 1,200 PARK & PIER AND RECREATION 7,100 4,000 POLICE DEPARTMENT 33,800 35,000 FIRE DEPARTMENT 2,650 4,000 FIRE HYDRANTS 5,000 5,150 EMERGENCIES & CONTINGENCIES 15,000 9,000 LIBRARY 6,600. 7,700 COMMUNITY CENTER 2,000 2,400 DRAINAGE 14,300 6,000 CAPITAL OUTLAY 100 100 CIVIL DEFENSE 100 100 ADMINISTRATOR 100 100 TOTAL 185,200 185,200 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City of Edgewater, Florida, be and she hereby is directed, as and when the above described and &39 designated revenues are received and collected by her, to apportion such revenues to the respective purposes set forth in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or peett or ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held October 20, 1969. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
