635ORDINANCE NO. 635 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1969 AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1970 TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the following amount of monies are anticipated to be collected from the sources of revenue of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1969, and ending October 31, 1970 to wit ESTIMATED INCOME From Surplus Funds 6,000.00 Taxes 88,000.00 Building Permits 1,200.00 Electric Permits 400.00 Plumbing Permits 300.00 Business & Occupational Licenses 9,000.00 Beer, Wine & Liquor Licenses 1,900.00 Fines & Forfeitures 13,000.00 Miscellaneous 1,500.00 Cigarette Tax 22,000.00 Franchise Rebate 13,000.00 Community Center 1,000.00 Garbage & Trash Collections 34,000.00 Office & Storage Space Rental 1,200.00 192,500.00 SECTION 2. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be collected from the sources of revenue as aforementioned, the same be and they are hereby appropriated to the following purposes in the following amounts during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1969, and ending October 31, 1970, to wit: ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES General Government 48,450.00 Garbage & Trash Department 34,400.00 Road Maintenance 23,100.00 Street Paving & Improvements 500.00 Humane Society 1,200.00 Park Maintenance & Recreation 7,850.00 Street Lights 9,100.00 Police Department 37,100.00 Fire Department 6,900.00 Fire Hydrants 5,200.00 Emergency & Contingency 2,000.00 Library 7,400.00 Community Center 2,800.00 Drainage 6,200.00 Capital Outlay 100.00 Civil Defense 100.00 Administrator 100.00 tya����rl SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida be and she is hereby directed to appropriate such anticipated revenue as set forth in Section 1 herein to the respective purposes set forth in Section 2 herein as and when the above described and designated revenues are received and collected. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of the Council held on the 15th day of September, A.D., 1969, and approved as provided by law. The second reading of said Ordinance to be at the regular meeting of the City Council to be held on October 6th, 1969.
