ORDINANCE NO. 609
AN ORDINANCE SETTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING
REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
NOVEMBER 1, 1968 AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1969 To THE
VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following amount of monies are anticipated to be
collected from the sources of revenue of the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida during the fiscal year beginning November 1,
1968 and ending October 31, 1969, to -wit:

SECTION 2. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be collected
from the sources of revenue as aforementioned, the same be and they
are hereby appropriated to the following purposes in the following
amounts during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1968 and ending
October 31, 1969, to -wit:

SECTION 3 That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida be
and she is hereby directed to appropriate such anticipated revenue as
set forth in Section 1 herein to the respective purposes set forth
in Section 2 herein as and when the above described and designated
revenues are received and collected.
SECTION 4.. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the regular meeting of
the Council held on the 7th day of October, A.D., 1968 and approved
as provided by law. The second reading of said Ordinance to be at
the regular meeting of the City Council to be held on October 21st.,
1968. The roll call vote of said Council being as follows:

The above Ordinance was read upon second reading at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on October 21, 1968, and
was passed by vote of the City Council and approved as provided
by law, the roll call vote of said Council being as follows:
