AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 576, THE TENATIVE BUDGET
ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1967 AND
ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1968, SO AS TO
APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $9,500.00
FROM ACCRUED SURPLUS TO SURPLUS
FUNDS OF ESTIMATED INCOME FOR
SAID FISCAL YEAR AND FURTHER
APPROPRIATING THE SAID SUM OF
$9,500.00 TO EMERGENCY AND CON-
TINGENCY FUND OF ESTIMATED
EXPENDITURES FOR THE SAID FISCAL
YEAR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Nine Thousand Five Hundred
($9,500.00) Dollars be appropriated from accrued surplus into
the budget for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1967 and
ending October 31, 1968.
SECTION 2. That SECTION 1. of Ordinance No. 576 0£ the
Code of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Under Estimated Income From Surplus Funds in the amount of
$2,000,00 is hereby increased by $9,500.00 to the total sum
of Eleven Thousand Five Hundred ($11,500.00) Dollars, so that
the total estimated income during the said fiscal year will be
the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Thousand and Five Hundred
($160,500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 3. That SECTION 2. of Ordinance No. 576 of the
Code of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Under Estimated Expenditures Emergency & Contingency in the
amount of $4,900.00 is hereby increased by the sum of Nine
Thousand Five Hundred ($9,500.00) Dollars to the total sum of
Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred ($13,400.00) Dollars so that the
total estimated expenditures for the said fiscal year will be
the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Thousand and Five Hundred
($160,500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater,
Florida be and she is hereby directed to appropriate such
anticipated revenue as set forth in SECTION 2. herein to the
respective purposes set forth in SECTION 3. herein as and when
the above described revenues are received and collected.

SECTION 5. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 6. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval
by the Mayor,
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote
of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
regular meeting held on the 18th day of March A.D., 1968,
and approved as provided by law.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the require-
ment of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived
and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edge-
water, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 18th day of March A.D., 1968 and approved as provided by
law; the vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
