577ORDINANCE NO. 577 AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING AND SETTING THE MILLAGE TO BE LEVIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA FOR 1967. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That pursuant to applicable law, and after due notice of a Public Hearing held for the purpose of hearing any objections and explaining the millage increase for 1967, said Public Hearing being held October 4th, 1967, the millage to be levied by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, as the budget making authority, be and the same shall be 7.38 mills. SECTION 2. That the said millage is not in excess of that permitted by the ratio certified by the Tax Assessor of Volusia County, Florida and is in complaince with Chapter 193, Florida Statutes, as amended. SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon /Vice its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a Special Meeting of said Council held on the 4th day of October, 1967 and approved as provided by law. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the require- ment of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed upon vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a Special Meeting of said Council held on October 4th, 1967 and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as follows: Vice Approved this 4th day of Councilman October, 1967.
