574ORDINANCE NO. 574 AN ORDINANCE HIRING EARL GILBERT AS PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. Section I . That Earl Gilbert be and he is hereby hired by the City of Edgewater, Florida as Patrolman for said city with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of a Patrolman as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances of said city, and the laws of the State of Florida, and to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said city. Section 2. That the said Earl Gilbert as Patrolman be paid the sum of $325 per month which shall be subject to being raised to $350 per month after three months employment, at the will of the City Council. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Vice Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on October 2, 1967. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
