566' _ J ORDINANCE NO. 566 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC OR INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN OR UPON A LICENSEE'S PLACE OF BUSINESS AFTER 2 A.M.; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. No person holding a license from the City of Edgewater to sell alcoholic or intoxicating beverages, which shall be taken to include ale, beer and wine, shall allow, permit or suffer any person to consume alcoholic or intoxicating beverages in or upon said licensee's place of business after 2 A.M. Section 2. Any licensee violating the provisions of Section 1 hereof, shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided for in Section 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and in addition thereto, shall be subject to the provisions of Section 11, Ordinance No. 161, Section 3-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater, Florida. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The foregoing ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on July 17, 1967. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
