564ORDINANCE NO. 664
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A 12 INCH DIAMETER PIPE
FOR ALL CULVERTS UNDER DRIVEWAYS THAT CROSS
DRAINAGE DITCHES; AND PROVIDING THAT THE
INSTALLATION OF ALL SUCH CULVERTS SHALL BE
DONE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE CITY BUILDING
INSPECTOR; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR ANY
VIOLATIONS THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That all piping for culverts under driveways that
cross drainage ditches shall have a minimum diameter of 12 inches.
Section 2. That the installation of all culvert piping under
driveways that cross drainage ditches shall be done under the
supervision of the City Building Inspector, who shall be notified
prior to the commencement of any such installation.
Section 3. That any violation of this ordinance shall subject
that person, upon conviction, to the penalties provided for in
Section lrS of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater,
Florida.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular
meeting of said Council held on July 17, 1967.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on July 17,
1967, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
being as follows:
