557ORDINANCE NO. 557 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LUCIUS CLARK FLOOR COVERING OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA FOR CARPETING AND TILE FOR THE NEW-RUBLIC LIBRARY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, Florida has caused to be advertised invitations to bid on carpeting and tile for the Public Library in the City of Edgewater, Florida, and WHEREAS, competitive bids have been received and were opened and read at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council held on June 19, 1967, and WHEREAS, the City Council, after duly considering the various bids, is desirous of accepting the bid of Lucius Clark Floor Covering of New Smyrna Beach, Florida for carpeting and tile, as per specifications, in the total sum of $976.40. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the bid of Lucius Clark Floor Covering of New Smyrna Beach, Florida for carpet, cushion, tile and labor for the new public library in Edgewater, Florida, in the total amount of $976.40 be and the same is hereby accepted. Section 2. That any and all other bids be and the same are hereby rejected. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the mayor. The foregoing ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting held on June 22, 1967. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
