AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF STATE TRACTOR
AND EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. FOR A ROAD GRADER
AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater has caused to be advertised
invitations to bid for a road grader for the City of Edgewater, Florida
and,
WHEREAS, competitive bids have been received by the City and
opened and
have beenlread at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council,
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to accept the bid of
State Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc. in the amount of sixteen
thousand and nine hundred dollars ($16, 900. 00) and to reject all other
bids.
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of State Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc.
for a road grader in the amount of sixteen thousand and nine hundred
dollars ($16, 900. 00) be and the same is hereby accepted by the City.
Section 2. That all other bids be and the same are hereby rejected.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Vice -Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting of
said council held on May 17, 1967, and, upon motion duly made, seconded
and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second
reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
special meeting of said council held on May 17, 1967, and approved as
provided by law, the vote of said council being as follows:
