ORDINANCE NO. 540
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A
PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION
FOR SUCH OFFICE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Clayton E. Dehlman be and he hereby is
designated and appointed as a Patrolman for the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, with full power and aethority to do and
perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the
Charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of
Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the
said city. That the said Clayton E. Dehlman shall be paid at the
rate of $325 per month, retroactive from April 13th, 1967, and
that after serving the City of Edgewater as patrolman for a
period of six months, his rate of pay shall be subject to being
raised to the sum of $350 per month, at the will of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repeeled�
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Vice Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting of said Council held April 17th, 1967. Upon motion duly
made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading such
Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance ordered
put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the meeting of said Council held on April 17, 1967,
and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
being as follows:
