ORDINANCE NO. 528'
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 518 AND
SETTING A BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUES
TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1966 AND ENDING OCTOBER
31, 1967 TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 518 be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
That the following amount of monies are
anticipated to be collected from the source
of revenue of the city of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida during the fiscal year beginning
November 1, 1966 and ending October 31, 1967,
to -wit:
Taxes

Transfer from surplus funds

Building Permits

Electric Permits
1,000.00
Plumbing Permits

Business Licenses

Section 2. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be
collected from the sources of revenue as aforementioned, the same
be and they are hereby appropriated to the following purposes in
the following amounts during the fiscal year beginning November 1,
1966 and ending October 31, 1967.

Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida
be and she is hereby directed to appropriate such anticipated
revenue as set forth in Section 1 herein to the respective purposes
set forth in Section 2 herein as and when the above described and
designated revenues are received and collected.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting
of the said council held on the 23rd day of January 1967 and approved
as provided by law. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried,
the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was
waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a special meeting of said Council held on January 23, 1967 and
approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as
follows:
