527ORDINANCE NO. 527 AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING AND SETTING THE MILLAGE TO EE LEVIED BY THE CITY OF EDGEWATER FOR 1966. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That pursuant to applicable law and court order, and after due notice to the public of a public hearing held for the purpose of considering the tax assessor certifications and determining the millage to be levied for 1966, said public meeting being held January 23, 1967, and upon the certification of the tax assessor of the millage allowable under the provisions of Chapter 193, Florida Statutes, the millage to be levied by the City of Edgewater upon all non-exempt real and personal property located within the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same shall be Six Mills Section 2. That the said millage is not in excess of that permitted by the ratio certified by the tax assessor of Volusia County, Florida. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was readiin full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 23rd day of January 1967 and approved as provided by law. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
