AN ORDINANCE HIRING A CLERK FOR THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH THE COM-
PENSATION FOR THE SAID CLERK.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATE�
FLORIDA:
Section$. That Dorothy C. Blackwell, be and she is hereby hired by
the City of Edgewater, Florida, as clerk, to serve as such at the will of
the city council, the said employment of Dorothy C. Blackwell to become
effective August 10, 1966.
Section 2. That the compensation for the said Dorothy C. Blackwell
shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) per month, retroactiveugust
10, 1966, said rate of pay being subject to being increased to the sum of
Two Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars ($225. 00) per month, after the
expiration of three months, at the will of the city council.
Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Acting Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the city
council of the city of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of the city
council held on August 15, 1966.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage,
Passed by vote of the city council of the city of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said council held on August 15, 1966, and approved
as provided by law, the vote of said council being as follows:
