ORDINANCE NO. 499
AN ORDINANCE TERMINATING SERVICES OF A PATROLMAN
FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Garner Fugate, a patrolman for the city of Edgewater,
Florida, has tendered his resignation to the City of Edgewater,
Florida effective August 15, 1966. WO

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF

EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the services of Garner Fugate as patrolman for
the City of Edgewater, Florida be and they are hereby terminated
as of August 15, 1966 and that he shall be paid at his regular
rate of pay for his services to that date.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Acting Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a recessed meeting
of said Council held on August 5, 1966, said meeting being recessed
from a regular meeting of said City Council held on August 1, 1966.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a recessed meeting of said Council held on August 5, 1966, said
meeting being recessed from a regular meeting of said City Council
held on August 1, 1966, and approved as provided by law, the vote
of said Council being as follow
