AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATINla M APPOINTING
A PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING
FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That William Evans be and he hereby is designated
and appointed as a Patrolman for the City of Edgewater, Volusia Countyjy;
Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the �v
duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances
of said city and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such
at the will of the City Council of the said city. That the said
William Evans shall be paid the sum of Three Hundred and No/100
per month
($300.00) Dollars and this rate subject to be raised to Three Hundred
Thirty and No/100 ($330.00) Dollars after the expiration of 90 days,
at the will and discretion of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida. Said appointment being effective as of the
5th day of July, A.D. 1966.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately

upon itsspassage and approval by the Mayor .
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the recessed
meeting of said Council held July 5th, 1966.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading such ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at the recessed meeting of said Council held on the 5th day
of July, 1966 and approved as provided by law, the vote of said
