483ORDINANCE NO. 483
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING
A CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING
FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCHOFFICE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Charles A. Hall be, and he is hereby 9
designated and appointed as City Attorney for the City of Edgewate
Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and 666
perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by
the Charter and Ordinances of said city and the laws of the State
of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the
said city. That the said Charles A. Hall shall be paid a monthly
salary of One Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars per month
as compensation for attending regular meetings of the City Council
of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and for performing ordinary
services involved therewith. Additional compensation shall be paid
for services required over and above those normally rendered for
said position. Said services to be approved by the City Council.
Said appointment shall be effective the 22nd day of April, 1966.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately

upon its passage and approval by the, Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the special
meeting of said Council held on April 22nd, 1966.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the special meeting of said council held on the 22nd
day of April, 1966, and approved as provided by law, the vote of
said Council being as follows:
