AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BID OF
INSURANCE COMPANY OF NORTH AMERICA
AND REJECTING THE BID OF
BEN RIDGDILL INSURANCE AGENCY
BE IT E14ACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida, hereby accepts the competitive bid of Insurance Company 0,
of North America as submitted by J. E. fumblin Insurance Agency for the
total insurance program of said City for one year commencing the 19th day
of December, 1965, said bid being in the amount of Five Thousand Five Hundred
Six and 98/100 ($5,506.98) Dollars. Said insurance program shall comply
with the specifications called for in the City+s request for bids and a
temporary binder be submitted and said policies issued upon approval by
the City Attorney.
SECTION 2. The bid of Ben Ridgdill Insurance Agency be and is hereby rejected.
SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be,
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect December 6th, 1965 upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Section 104 of the
Charter of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, as amended.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of
said Council held on December 6th, 1965.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading
such Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Oddinance was
ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of December,
A.D. 1965, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
being as follows:
