AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE COMPENSATION
OF GARNER. FUGATE, POLICE OFFICER FOR TIE
CITY OF EDGE'rlATER, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDMIXTER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That GARNER FUGATE is presently serving in the capacity
of Police Officer for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
at the salary of Three Hundred and No/100 (;300.00) Dollars per month.
That the said Garner Fugate shall continue to serve in such capacity as
Police Officer at the odll of the City Council of said City and that his
compensation shall be increased to Three Hundred Thirty Five and No/100
(w335.00) Dollars per month. Said increase in compensation shall be
effective as of February 1st, 1965.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
here,ith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance »ras read in full and passed by vote of the City Council
of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the recessed meeting of said Council
held on February 3rd, 1965.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading
such ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered
put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the
recessed meeting of said council held on the 3rd day of February, 1965, and
approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as follows:
