423ORDINANCE N0. 423 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO EE COLLECTED FOR THE WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOIIISIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR EEGINNING NOVEMEER 1964, AND ENDING OC70BER 31, 1965, TO THE VARIQ ITEF:S OF THE CITY BUDGET. HE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the following amounts of moneys to be collected from the source of revenue of the Waterworks and Sewer System of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1964, and ending October 31, 1965, be and the same hereby are appropriated to the following purposes and in the following amounts: November 1, 1964 ending, October 31, 1965 REVENUE FUND Water Sales (Est. of 1,100 customers) $38,000.00 Connection charges 3,000.00 Service Charges 300.00 Utility Tax 24,000.00 Hydrant Rental 4,150.00 Miscellaneous 1,000.00 Sewer Receipts (Est. of 998) 15,000.00 $85,450.00 APPROPRIATTOI9 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Salaries and wages 11,550.00 Payroll Taxes 420.00 Power 2,570.00 Chemicals 660.00 Capital Outlay 14,960.00 Supplies 1,870.00 Truck Expense 550.00 Repairs and Replacements 330.00 Telephone 300.00 Printing and Office Supplies 495.00 Professional Services 600.00 New Equipment 2,300.00 Insurance 387.00 Office and Storage Space Rental 1,200.00 Miscellaneous 1,458.00 Operating cost of Sewer System(4 months) 7,500.00 $47,150.00 NET OPERATING PROFIT $38,300.00 Bond & Interest Sinking Fund Reserve Account Renewal and Replacement Fund SURPLUS 26,600.00 9,36o.00 2,340.00 $38,300.00 00 11 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of the said City of Edgewater, Florida, be and she hereby is directed to apportion such revenues of the Waterworks and Sewer System of the City of Edgewater, Florida, to the respective purposes set forth in Section 1 hereof as and when the above -described and designated revenues are received and collected. SECTTCN 3. That all ordinances or parts of or- dinances in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by unanimous vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of the Council held on the 20th day of October, A. D. 1964. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
