414~ - -ORDINANCE NO.414 AN ORDINANCE TERMINATING SERVICES OF A SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION DUE FOR SUCH OFFICE TO TERMINATION DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDCEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That by Ordinance No. 178, dated the 12th day of November, 1957, Herman John was designated and appointed as Special ,/L® Police Officer for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, to serve as such at the will of his City Council of the said city, with a salary of Twelve (a12.00) Dollars per month. That it is the will of the City Council of the said city that the appointment of Herman John as Special Police Officer for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, be terminated as of August lid, 1964 and that he be paid to said date. That said services and pay of Herman John be and are terminated as of August 2nd, 1964. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or part^ of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the Regular Meeting of said Council held on August 3rd, 1964. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading sucjr ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon passage.
