AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING
A PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
VOIUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING
FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE.
BE IT ENACTED BY TIM PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF 'EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Garner Fugate be and he hereby is designated and
appointed as a Patrolman for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County,
Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the ,gym
duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances
of said city and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such
at the will of the City Council of the said city. That the said
Garner Fugate shall be paid the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-five and
no/100 ($275.00) Dollars for a period of 60 days, said compensation
being increased to Three Hundred and no/100 ($300.00) Dollars per
month thereafter. Said appointment being effective as of the 13th
day of July, A.D. 1964.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting
of said Council held July 20th, 1964.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading such ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 20th day of July, 1964
and approved as provided by law, the vote of said council being as follows:
