4071 - - ORDINANCE NO. 407 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAVING OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWAMPOTI �, SECTION I. That the City of Edgewater, Florida, will pave the following streets within Florida Shores Subdivision, to -wit: Royal Palm Drive from Indian River Boulevard South to 30th Street Mango Tree Drive and Juniper Drive from 21st Street to 30th Street 30th Street East from Royal Palm Drive to the Florida East Coast Railroad SECTION 2. That the County Commissioner of District No. 5, Volusia County, Florida, will bear the cost of equipment and labor for the above mentioned paving, and that the cost of material for said paving will be prorated one third each to the abutting property owners on both sides of the streets, and the remaining one third to be paid by the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 3. That immediately upon determination as to the cost of said paving material, the abutting property owners shall be billed for their proportionate share, which may be paid in the following manner: (a) Without interest if said bill is paid within 30 days of billing. (b) In the event said paving bill is not paid within 30 days from date of billing, arrangements may be made by the property owner, or owners, with said City wherein the bill may be paid on an installment basis within one year from date of billing, with interest charged thereon at the rate of f;% per annum. SECTION 4. That in the event said paving bill is not paid by any person, or persons, within one year from date of billing, the City of Edgewater, Florida, shall place a lien against the property involved for the amount owed, plus 697, interest, and said interest rate shall continue until the paving bill has been paid in full. SECTION 5. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. ydl�' SECTION 6. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said council held on June 15, 1964. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
