397ORDINANCE NO. 397
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING
A REGULAR POLICE OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADM
SETTING FORTH 0014PENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE.
DE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA'
SECTION 1. That General Fugate be and he hereby is designated
and appointed a regular police officer for the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and
perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the
Charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of
Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said
city. That the said General Fugate shall be paid the sum of One
Hundred and No/100 (100.00) Dollars her month, said appointment
being effective as of the 1st day of March, 1964.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or harts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same hereby are rerealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the regular meeting
of said Council held on February 17, 1964.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put unon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 17th
day of February, 1964 and approved as provided by law, the vote of
said council being as follows:14A
