374ORDINANCE NO. 9 '7 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A JUDGE FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA AND SETTING FORTH COMPEN- SATION FOR SUCH OFFICE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Mayor Dana Armstrong be and he hereby is designated and appointed as Judge for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of Florida; to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said city. That the said Mayor Dana Armstrong shall be paid the sum of Sixty -Six and 67/100 ($66.67) per month. Said appoint- ment being effective as of the 6th day of November, 1963• SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and ap proval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in Yell and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the regular meeting of said council held on November 18, 1963. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirements of read- ing said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
