AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT
OF SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, IN THE EVENT OF THE ABSENCE, DISQUAL-
IFICATION, ILLNESS OR OTHER INCAPACITY OR EVEN
MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE DULY APPOINTED CI
ATTORNEY TO PERFORM ANY OF HIS OFFICIAL DUTIES
FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA-
SECTION 1. That special Counsel for the City of
Edgewater, Florida, may be appointed by the City Council
of the City of Edgewater, Florida, in the event of the ab-
sence, disqualification, illness or other incapacity or
event, making it impossible for the duly appointed City
Attorney to perform any of his official duties for the
City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at the regular meeting of said Council held on September
16th, 1963.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirements of reading said Ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final
passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council
held on the 16th day of September, 1963; the vote of said
Council being as follows:
