358ORDINANCE NO. 358 AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF LEROY EDWARD LEWIS AS PATROLMAN WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF NEDGEWATER BFFHCTI, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA; SETTING AN EFFECTIV DATE WHEN SAID INCREASED COMPENSATION IS TO BEGIN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That LEROY EDWARD LEWIS is presently serving as Patrolman with the Police Department for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, at a salary of Two Hundred Seventy -Five ($275.00) Dollars per month; that the said LEROY EDWARD LEWIS shall continue to serve in such capacity as Patrolman with the Police Department for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, at the will of the City Council of said City, and that his compensation shall be in- creased to Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars per month. Said increase in compensation shall be effective as of July 1, 1963. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 19th day of August , A. D. 1963. - 1 - 3va Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirements of reading said Ordinance upon second reading were waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
