340ORDINANCE NO. 169 24, a AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BID OF TRAVELERS INSURANCE COMPANY AND REJECTING ALL����� OTHER BIDS. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, hereby accepts the competitive bid of Travelers Insurance Company as submitted by the Lavin -Grafton Agency, Inc., of Edgewater, Florida, for the total insurance program of said City for one year commencing the 19th day of December, 1962, said bid being in the amount of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty -Five and 92/100 ($4, 865. 92) Dollars. Said insurance program shall comply with the specifications called for in the City's request for bids. SECTION 2. That the bid of American Casualty Company of Reading, Pennsylvania, as submitted by Toxey Whitaker Insurance Agency of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, in the amount of Five Thousand Seventy and 73/100 ($5, 070.73) Dollars be, and the same is hereby rejected. SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect(immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.) SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Section 104 of the Charter of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, as amended, The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held on December 17, 1962.
