334, ORDINANCE NO. 334 AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF HELEN W. JONES, DEPUTY CITY CLERK FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATE ILA SECTION 1. That HELEN W. JONES is presently serving in the capacity of Deputy Clerk for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, at a salary of One and 25/100 ($1.25) Dollars per hour. That the said Helen W. Jones shall continue to serve in such capacity as Deputy Clerk at the will of the City Council of said city and that her compensation shall be increased to Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars per month. Said increase in compensation shall be effective as of November 1, 1962. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held on November 19, 1962. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirements of reading such ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
