AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
SPEED OF TRAINS THROUGH THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
AND ESTABLISHING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEiiEOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PEOPLE OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDOPTED
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to operate a railroad train,
cars, locomotives or engines in or through the corporate limits
of this City at a rate of speed in excess of 20 miles per hour.
Section 2. That a violation of the above provision of Section 1
shall be punishable by a fine of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars.
Section 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section ,,. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by unanimous
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the
regular meeting of the Council held on October 22, 1962.
