319ORDINANCE NO. 319 ORDINANCEAN MAN FOR THE CITY IOFAAPPOINTING PATROL EDGEWATER, VOLUSIACOUNTY,, gppp FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTY COMPENSATION FOR SUCH ADOPTED OFFICE. BE IT ENACTED BY TEE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA- SECTION 1. That LEROY EDWARD LEWIS be and he hereby is de- signated and appointed as Patrolman with the Police Department for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the Statt of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said city. That the said LEROY EDWARD LEWIS shall be paid the sum of Two Hundred Seventy Five (4275.00) Dollars per month. Said appointment being ef- fective as of the 2nd day of July, 1962. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in cinflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 3• That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said council held on July 2, 1962. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirements of reading such ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
