AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
SPEED OF TRAINS THROUGH THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
AND ESTABLISHING A. PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PEOPLE OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDAADDPTED
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to operate a railroad train,
cars, locomotives or engines in or through the
ee1 corporate limits of

this City at a rate of speed in excess of S ,� miles per hour.
Section Section 2. That a violation of the above prodfs,4*0(_ n"' 1 4 `
shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars or by imprisonment not to exeeed ten days.
Section 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by unanimous
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the
regular meeting of the Council held on March 5, 1962.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at the regular meeting of said Council on the 5th day of March, 1962, and
approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as follows:
