AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BID FOR
STOP SIGNS AND POSTS FOR. THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND
REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWA AD
Section 1. That the City Council of the Cit r eFlorida, hereby accepts the competitive bid of Campbell A. Brown
of Edgewater, Florida, for stop signs and posts as per the called
for bids for the same heretofore published by letter to bidders by
The City of Edgewater, Florida, for a total bid of #2,035.00, said
signs to comply with the specifications called for In the City's
request for bids.
Section 2. That the bid of Sargent & Souell, Inc., in the total
amount of $3,571.00 and the bid of J. Randolph Brown & Company, in
the amount of 02,075.25, be and the same are hereby rejected.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passageand approval by the Mayor.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Section
104 of the Charter of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
as amended.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by unanimous
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the
regular meeting of said. Council held on February 5, 1962.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
