ORDINANCE NO. 302
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BID OF
HAYMAN & WESSEL OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SHUFFEE BOARDS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PEOPLE OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA ArrR,TED
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, hereby accepts the bid of HLYMAN & WESSEL, general con-
tractors of Edgewater, Florida, for the construction of two shuffib-
board courts, three drains, shelters and benches, all according to
the plans submitted by the Pier and Park Board of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, for a total cost of 0748.22. That said City
Council finds this bid to be the beat bid of those submitted.
SECTION II. That the bid of DOMINIC PETTY of Daytona Beach,
Florida, in the amount of 0675.00, be and the same is hereby
rejected for the reason that the same does not comply with the
Cityls call for bids, in that the same fails to include the con-
struction of shelters and benches.
SECTION III. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
SECTION IV. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION V. That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Section
704 of the Charter of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
as amended.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by unanimous
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the
regular meeting of said Council held on January 3, 1962.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.

Florida, at the regular meeting of said council on the 3rd day of
January, A.D., 1962, and approved as provided by law, the vote of
said Council being as follows:
