AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID
OF JOHN GRAFTON ASSOCIATES FOR
COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE COVERAGE
FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLOR-
IDA,.AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BED
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Edgewater, Florida, having
called for competative bids for its comprehensive Insurance
Coverage for the needs of the city for the year 1961-1962, and
having received two bids: One from John Grafton Associates and
one from the W. L. Robinson Insurance Agency of New Smyrna Beach,
Florida. And the Council having considered each bid and having
determined that the bid of John Grafton Associates is the best
bid to meet the Insurance needs of the city. That the bid of
John Grafton Associates in the total amount of Three Thousand
Seven Hundred thirty-two 43,732.61) dollars, for the Insurance
Needs of the city of Edgewater, Florida, for the year 1961-1962
be and the same is hereby accepted. That the bid of W. L. Robin-
son Insurance Agency be and the same is hereby rejected.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting of said council held on December 18, 1961.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council on the 18th. day
