ORDINANCE NO. 269
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON, FIRM, OR #404 CORPORATION FROM PERMITTING ANY JUNKED OR
ABANDONED AUTOMOBILE TO REMAIN ON HIS OR ITS
PROPERTY FOR M02E THAN FIVE DAYS AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF. 9
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or cor-
poration to permit any junked or abandoned automobile to remain on
his or its property for more than five days unless the said junked
or abandoned automobile be on the premises of a duly licensed
automobile salvage company.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined
not more than $ or imprisoned for not more than
days, or both, at the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION k. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting of said council held on August 15, 1960.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held August 15, 1960
and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being
