BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: �� SECTION 1. That the following described property, located within the corporate limits of the City of Edgewater, Florida hereby Is dedicated to the use of the public, forever, as a park and pier, to -wit: From the Northeast corner of Section 33, Township 17 South, Range 34 East, run N. 370 50' 40" W. a distance of 358.35 feet to "IWV Mon. #44 ; thence N. 240 51, 10" W. a distance of 953.93 feet to an Intersection with the Easterly prolongation of the South line of Park Avenue, a 50 foot street as now laid out; thence N. 660 45' 50" E. along the said Easterly prolongation of the South line of Park Avenue a distance of 115 feet more or less to the Westerly high water mark of the Indian River North and the POINT OF BEGINNING of this description; thence continuing N. 660 45' 50" E. a distance of 620 feet more or less to the West line of the 500 foot right-of-way of the Intracoastal 'Waterway; thence N. 24° 22' 59" W. along said West R/W of the I.W.W. a distance of 200 feet more or less to an intersec- tion with the Easterly prolongation of the North line of Lot 4-R, Assessor's Subdivision of the Alvarez Grant as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 137, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida; thence S. 660 451 50" W. along the said Easterly prolongation of the North line of Lot 4-R, a distance of 658 feet more or less to the aforesaid Westerly high water mark of the Indian River North; thence Southerly along the said High ';later Mark, a distance of 210 feet more or less to the Point of Beginning; said parcel containing 2.9 acres more or less. SECTIO N 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 1st day of August, 1960.
