AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND AP POINTING A CASHIER
FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND SETTING
FORTH COMPENSATI:7N FOR SUCH OFFICE ))P

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Melba Cory be and she hereby is designated
Cashier of the City of Edgewater, Florida, with full power and
authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as
fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said city and
the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such at the will of
the City Council of said city; that the said Melba Cory shall be
paid the sum of Seventy-five and No/100 (675.00) Dollars per month
for her services, said appointment being effective as of March 1,
1960.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 3• This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting held on March 7, 1960.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of readine said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held March 7,
1960, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said council
being as follows:
